Unlike other Instructional Designers in this emerging field, I chose to get my Master's in 2011 mid-recession in one of the highest regarded places of education, the city of Boston, MA to advance in my dream career.

1.5 years later, at the age of 27, I had completed a M.S. in Organizational Learning and Development, while mutually training over 1k young women in personal development in my first training role.

My letter of recommendation for post-graduate employment came from John Weintraub, the Founder and Faculty Director of the Babson Coaching for Leadership and Teamwork Program.

 

This school is the #1 School Globally for an MBA in Entrepreneurship.

My first company deliverable, which was to Babson College's mandatory "Student Leadership Program", was a 40-page report with revisions of all testing materials & assessments for the students, included interviews with key faculty and provided me a chance to highlight best practices in branding, marketing and publicity for their elite program. In 14 years of this program, the course wasn't revised until I completed this internship.

This experience allowed me to move to NYC with confidence and credentials and in only 3 months, be hired as a Corporate Training Analyst and ID for all 165 call center employees and middle management at National Grid. One of my first and most important contributions there was the revision of their lagging 1-week onboarding new hire program into a robust 14-day program that

I successfully trained 135 additional Union New Hire employees over the next 3 years as their foundation in this field.

This premier experience taught me how hard work and putting 110% into my efforts truly made an impact on each organization I worked at.

 

The following 11 years in L & D allowed me to work with both private, entrepreneurial, and Fortune 500 contract clients as a multi-disciplinary full-cycle Consultant, Trainer, Coach & ID, providing the maximum value I could possibly every time.
